Something is very off here!! I am so heart broken for her family! I would be furious. Thanks for covering this.
No Emergency Lights…
No Water Spray…
No smoldering No Fire…
No scurrying of Firefighters on the roof!
I’m a 35 year Paramedic.
First of all, the only way she would be in a body bag at all, is if the coroner had declared her “Deceased” at the scene – period.
Paramedics DON”T pronounce death unless the injuries are obvious and incompatible with life.
In all likely hood, if she were still alive, and suffered serious burns, where is the absolute basic 02, and airway management – aka – Intubation to prevent edema from an inhalation injury ( which would be extremely likely in a confined burn situation ), from obstructing her airway?
Where is the ECG monitor, the IV for rehydration due to fluid shifts, & application of pain medication ( aka morphine ), or even the basics of any field trauma protocols that even a 1 week first aid course would cover?
What would be the purpose of shutting her up?
That crew has no business in an Ambulance – they obviously have no understanding of even basic first aid, let alone managing a seriously injured burn patient.
If she were the only patient, then that was most certainly her, and there is something extremely wrong with this scenario.
What does she know, and what is the motivation for this?
Since when do they have big burly firemen, with their firefighter gear, gloves, helmet, jacket, push the patient high speed like firewood in a wheelbarrow into a medical ambulance? Where are the paramedics?
Dumb asses…that is a BURN BLANKET! Her feet are hanging out the bottom. They never said she was dead at the scene and they did NOT put her in a body bag. She was in a burning vehicle for 20 minutes and had horrific burns everywhere. She was drunk. She hit an apartment garage door before she hit the house and had a bottle of alcohol in her cupholder.
